Fine Escapes-The Best Austrian Hotels
If you are looking for a beautiful country to visit consider Austria. A lot of countries Ive visited have beautiful parts of the country. However Austria is one of the few countries that is seemingly beautiful all over. If I had to pick a most beautiful place in Austria itd be high in the mountains on a crisp winter day!
For those who dont know where Austria is it is bordered by Germany the Czech Republic Slovakia Hungary Slovenia Italy and Liechtenstein. With so many neighboring countries its no wonder why Austria is so welcoming to visitors and has a wide area of cultures on display.
Austria with a population of around nine million people has a lot of luxury hotels and resorts for not being that big of a country. Here are a few of my favorite places to stay while in Austria:
Le Meridien Vienna as the name suggests is located in the Austrian capital city of Vienna. This is a very modern hotel that caters to both luxury travelers and business travelers. The rooms are very comfortable and there is a lot to do within the hotel including visiting the restaurants and bars. One of the reasons why I like this hotel so much is its location. By foot you can visit many historical places shopping area and tasty dining establishments.
If you want to stay at a hotel up in the mountains Id recommend Hotel Pulverer Thermenwelt. Its located in the Nockberge Mountains in the city of Bad Kleinkirchheim and is a great place to get away from it all. Although the atmosphere is laidback there is a lot to do if you are into adventure sports.
A few other hotels Id recommend are Austria Trend Hotel Rathauspark Mercure Wien Zentrum and Renaissance Penta Vienna Hotel.
